GetPaidAtlas is free to use. These terms are short and plain, and they exist mainly so people know what's OK to do with our work.

Reading, quoting and citing: yes, please

You're welcome to read the site, quote it, and cite individual statuses or facts in articles, posts, videos, docs, answers and AI tools, as long as you link back to the page you used (ideally the country page, with its check date).

Suggested citation: GetPaidAtlas (https://getpaidatlas.com/), checked [date].

Bulk copying: please ask first

Copying or republishing the dataset in bulk (for example most of the countries or providers, the JSON file, or a mirror of the site) is not allowed without our written permission. If you'd like to use the data in a product or a bigger project, email [email protected] and tell us what you have in mind. We're happy to talk.

Open data: the CSV download

One exception to the above: the payment platform availability table and its CSV download (country × platform statuses with check dates) are licensed under CC BY 4.0. You may share and adapt them, including commercially, if you credit GetPaidAtlas with a link to https://getpaidatlas.com/data/ and say if you changed anything.

The checker widget is free to embed on your site as it is.

Not legal, tax or financial advice. Provider rules change often and depend on your business type, what you sell, and the documents you hold. Always verify with the provider before you build or sign up. 'Unclear' means we could not confirm it from an official source.
